STEMPOINT Contract

Science Connects holds the STEMPOINT contract for the West of Scotland, providing brokerage services for STEM Enhancement and Enrichment (E&E). Through this we have a responsibility to provide all schools and colleges with impartial advice and guidance on a wide range of STEM E and E activities, helping them to identify which opportunities can best inspire their young people in STEM. The STEMPOINT contract is awarded by STEMNET.

STEM Ambassador Services

Science Connects holds the Science and Engineering Ambassadors (SEAs) contract for the West of Scotland, ensuring all schools and colleges have access to a range of exciting and dynamic role models in STEM. STEM Ambassadors are individuals who are willing to give their time and energy free of charge to help inspire young people in STEM - they can do this in a variety of ways from illustrating specific careers or helping with classroom activities to assisting in extracurricular activities such as clubs, challenges and competitions.
