Information for Teachers
What could a STEM Ambassador do for your School?
STEM Ambassadors (formerly SEAs) bring enthusiasm and support to classroom projects. Teachers and schools benefit from access to quality-assured volunteers who can help in a variety of ways. Via Ambassadors, teachers can not only get support for enriching and enhancing the curriculum through activities or events, but can also increase their own understanding of the career paths to which STEM subjects can lead. Schools can benefit from enhanced links with local business or individual volunteers with valuable skills. For further information go to About STEM Ambassadors.
Some examples of how STEM Ambassadors can enhance school activities are given on the Case Studies page where there is a series of downloadable accounts from existing ambassadors. The Newsletters page may also help to give you ideas of the activities SEAs can be involved in. We also have a Current Activites section which is regularly updated for ambassadors to see what activities and schools need support.
