K'NEXT Generation:It's Not Rocket science!
Following a presenter led discussion about rocket power and the forces involved when rockets leave the Earth, pupils will work in teams of 3, as they design and build their own rocket powered vehicle. Each team will then have a chance to demonstrate to their class mates how their vehicle works and explain any problems they encountered and how they solved them. There will then be an opportunity for pupils to improve their vehicle, armed with the knowledge gained from testing and discussion.
Workshop is available for all P4-7. Maximum capacity for each workshop is 33 pupils. Each workshop lasts approx 90 minutes.
Other workshops (not free) are available throughout the year. Please see the website for details.
