Gene Jury

In schools events and web based resources; age range 8-14.

The Gene Jury project presents interactive workshops in primary and secondary schools where pupils engage with and reflect upon current bioscience and its relevance to everyday life. Each workshops is themed around a separate bioethical issue concerning the use of modern genetic technology and involves hands on activities or games and the use of hand-held "clickers". A suite of complementary web resources will be available for each workshop.
