Chemistry at Work

Chemistry at Work provides S3 pupils from Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Moray and Angus with an insight into the many different career options that can result from studying Chemistry.

Supported by the Royal Society of Chemistry and hosted by the University of Aberdeen the event, which this year takes place over four mornings from 16th to 19th June, aims to encourage pupils to continue to study chemistry beyond Standard Grade.

This year, over 800 pupils from 17 schools are expected to attend the event at which they will have the opportunity to take part in presentations and practical workshops given by industry professionals.
