Science Clubs
In association with the Children's University of Aberdeen, TechFest-SetPoint organises a number of after-school clubs.
In 2009 TechFest-SetPoint organised after-school science clubs for 40 children from Walker Road, Smithfield and Riverbank Primary schools.
The pupils were given the opportunity to test their science and engineering skills through a number of hands on workshops including designing windmills and rafts, testing the theory that toast always falls butter side down and discovering the colours that make up black ink. The 6 week programme then finished with an animal encounter with Mr Bug.
