- 1-2 July 2009 - The Society of Experimental Biology is organising two days of Darwin themed school and Public events at Glasgow Science Centre
- 13 September 2009 - Survival of the fittest trail at Edinburgh Zoo
- 13 December 2009 - Dinosaur life trail for toddlers at Edinburgh Zoo
- 18 December 2009 - Charles Darwin and the Falklands Island talk at Edinburgh Zoo
