The E.ON Energy Experience

Out of and in school events, student and teacher resources, age range 5-16.

The E.ON Energy Experience is a resource for 5-16 year olds that explores the theme of energy, with different topics for primary and secondary students. It allows young people to make decisions about energy in virtual scenarios and see the local, national and global implications. Teachers can deliver lessons independently, and E.ON employees have been trained to deliver versions of the lessons in schools and share their expertise and experience. There is a five-week theatre tour for primary schools and a one-day conference for secondary students and their teachers. Students can make sense of curriculum material by linking it to real-life contexts. Teachers are helped to deliver curriculum content by providing planned activities with clear guidance.
