Sphere Science Workshops

In school events, teacher resources, CPD age range 5-19.

Sphere Science has 14 workshops available, many concerned with sustainable energy. All develop investigative skills. They cover topics such as investigations into astronomy, clockwork, flight and finding out more about recycling or the energy we get from the Sun. Workshops are designed for a class of about 30 children accompanied by their class teacher, with time for three workshops in a day. Students develop investigative skills in a fun and imaginative way, they also increase their enthusiasm for science. The workshops arrive self-contained and the workshop leader sets up and runs the activity. Copyright is waived so that the teacher is able to take the ideas demonstrated if they so wish for their own teaching.
